Product Overview
HRT-V60 is an in-line vibrating viscometer for continuous measurement of process viscosity. The sensing element is driven in vibration, and changes in fluid viscosity affect the damping of that vibration. The instrument converts this response into a continuous viscosity signal for process monitoring and control.
Applications
Typical applications include resins, adhesives, coatings, oils, silicone materials, chemical formulations, food processes and other production steps where viscosity is used to monitor product consistency or process condition.
Selection & Application
Selection should consider the fluid type, expected viscosity range, process temperature and pressure, required repeatability, installation position and whether coating or buildup may occur on the sensing element. Sensor range and construction should be matched to the actual process conditions.
Installation & Integration
Install the sensing element where the fluid is representative and continuously refreshed. Avoid dead zones, trapped gas and locations where deposits can isolate the sensing surface. Depending on the process, the viscometer can be installed in pipelines, vessels, reactors or other suitable process connections.
Configuration Options
Viscosity range, insertion length, process connection, sensor material and temperature construction can be selected according to the application. Standard configurations provide viscosity and temperature analog outputs together with RS485 Modbus communication.
